The 13th Hamburger Fondsgespräch took place on October 9, 2023 as a full-day event at the Hotel Hafen Hamburg. The aim of the Hamburger Fondsgespräche is to create an open forum for the private equity and venture capital scene and the closed-end fund industry to exchange ideas and experiences. After a welcoming address by POELLATH private funds partner Uwe Bärenz, the speakers discussed domestic and foreign fund structures, fund compliance, the effects of ATAD III and current issues relating to fund audits, before engaging in a dialog with representatives of the private equity and venture capital scene.
