15th Hamburger Fondsgespräch

Forum for the private equity and venture capital scene

Hamburger Fondsgespräche were founded on the initiative of lawyers from the law firms POELLATH and YPOG. From the outset, the aim of this initiative was to create an open forum in Hamburg for the private equity and venture capital scene as well as the closed-end fund industry, which would be available to all individuals and companies who deal with closed-end fund products in their work to exchange ideas and experiences.

Since 2023, the organization has been in the hands of P+ Training.

Dr. Helder Schnittker (YPOG), Amos Veith (POELLATH), Uwe Bärenz (POELLATH), Gilles Dusemon (Arendt & Medernach) and Dr. Dajo Sanning (YPOG) are responsible for the content of the event program. Suggestions and criticism are always welcome.

The 15th Hamburger Fondsgespräch takes place on 1 October 2025 at the Hotel Hafen Hamburg. Register now!

We look forward to welcoming you to Hamburg on 1 October.

Keynote

Energy policy between ideology and industry – Who will shape the future of our energy supply?
(held in German)

We are delighted to announce that Professor Johan Lilliestam will be delivering this year’s keynote address.

He is a professor of sustainability transition policy and deals with transformation policy: what must and can the state do, and what does a modern climate policy that enables the energy transition to 100% renewable energy look like?

Modern climate policy starts with technology, and we have made great strides in this area in recent years. In his presentation, he will show that we are already doing many things right: there are many challenges and the transformation is far from complete, but the energy transition in Germany, Europe, and the world is progressing rapidly. So what is going well, where do we still need to improve—and how can we improve in order to successfully complete the energy transition?
