Stock options (also virtual, if necessary) are a frequently chosen form for start-ups and young companies to attract employees and retain them in the company. However, there are also other options for employee participation. The Employee Incentives module deals with different forms of incentives, in particular options and bonuses as well as equity participation, with their respective advantages and disadvantages. Tax issues in connection with the structuring of employee shareholdings are also dealt with.
